In 2024 Metalcolor obtained an important recognition: the Badge Committed from EcoVadis, a renowned provider active in 110 countries, which monitors the sustainability performance of companies in over 150 sectors.

Managing resources efficiently is a top priority for our company. Metal is a permanent material and its recyclability allows you to save raw materials, energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

The separate collection of metal containers allows the total recovery of raw materials and the saving of resources.

Steel Packaging

Italy has already largely exceeded the European target of 70% for 2025. To date, steel is the most recycled packaging material in Italy and Europe.

Raw Metal

The use of 1 ton of recycled scrap metal saves approximately 2 tons of ferrous minerals.

PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM

In 2011, with the aim of reducing energy consumption, we completed the installation of photovoltaic panels which today provide us with an average of 15% of the energy needed for production.

RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Our company is a fundamental part of the steel packaging production chain, which places attention to the quality of raw materials and respect for the environment at the center of every stage of production. Production waste is separated from the rest of the materials and sent for recycling so that it can be melted down again and transformed into new steel.
